Description
This is perhaps my favorite shot the the Old Sheldon Church in Beaufort, South Carolina. These ruins are a popular location for many outdoor weddings. The old church, also known as Prince Williams Parrish, has a rich history. It was burned originally by the British during the revolutionary war; it was later rebuilt only to be burned again by General Sherman during the Civil War.

This is a great photo! Good job! It would also be perfect for the “Moss, Algae, Lichen, Liverworts and Hornworts” group, for which I am the Administrator, as well as for the “Creatures And Oddities of The Enchanted Woods And Forbidden Forest” group. If you haven’t already done so, I would encourage you to join that Moss and Algae group, and submit this photo for consideration on their Home Page of “Featured Photos “.
