About Scott Hansen

Beaufort Photographer - Scott C. Hansen is a long time resident of Beaufort, SC, who loves capturing the beauty of the Lowcountry. Scott is a former combat photographer for the United States Marine Corps, and is well known in the Beaufort area for his Lowcountry scenes. Scott's work has been enjoyed and purchased internationally, as well as having his images seen on the Smithsonian Channel, and Lowcountry Living Magazine. Scott sees himself more as an artistic photographer. His passion is capturing local scenes, that we pass by every day, and presenting them in a way that is unique and inspiring. In spite of what some may think, hard work and dedication to the task at hand do pay off. Photos like this prove it! Wish we has some sunshine...

It worked out pretty well. The current was pretty rough, and the wind was blowing pretty heavy. There was a couple of times I was worried my equipment might get wet. Still, I'd do it again!

I like the low angle, so the kayak worked well for you!

David, I shot this series from a kayak. I'd like to do it again, but in the morning rather than the evening. Thanks for your kind words! :)

Another great image. Were you in a boat when you took these? Kinda looks like you were.
